Perimenopause and menopause can change how you sleep, how you feel and how you see yourself. Our Registered Psychologist offers a calm, private space to talk it through and build practical tools that fit your life.

About this service

Counselling that understands midlife

Hormonal change can bring anxiety, irritability, low mood or a short fuse that feels unfamiliar. It often lands at the same time as caring for kids or parents, career pressure and big relationship changes. You are not imagining it, and you do not have to sort it out alone.

Sessions draw on approaches such as CBT, CBT for insomnia (CBTi), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy and EMDR. Together we look at what is going on, what you want to feel different, and the small steps that will get you there.

We can help with

  • Anxiety, worry and irritability
  • Low mood and loss of motivation
  • Sleep problems and insomnia
  • Grief, loss and life transitions
  • Identity, self-worth and body image
  • Stress, burnout and overwhelm
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Relationship and family changes
